CAREERS WITH CLARKSON EVANS

What we offer

Career Progression

Tyler Walker

"I began my career at Clarkson Evans as a Customer Care Apprentice - they helped me strive to achieve a distinction, which I am very proud of. Having worked within the Customer Care department for just over two years, I wanted the opportunity to expand my knowledge and gain even more customer service experience by working within a different department. I have thoroughly enjoyed the new challenge and love working with my close-knit team."

Claire Cooper

“I’ve always felt supported by my team leaders and area managers and encouraged to learn. It’s clear to me that Clarkson Evans is very much about encouraging progression and developing people to have careers rather than just jobs."

Scott Hayden

“My career progression has been the result of my proactive attitude and the supportive environment at Clarkson Evans, which consistently provides opportunities and a clear pathway to leadership roles. This has played a crucial role in my professional growth.”

Wales and South West Regional Head of Production, Scott Hayden.

Jenna Owen

"Clarkson Evans are good at recognising employees’ abilities and strengths, encouraging them to become the best that they can be. I feel very proud about my progression within Clarkson Evans. My hard work and dedication have contributed to ensure I thrive in a job that I love."

Chris Roach

“Clarkson Evans is fantastic at promoting from within. Attending my graduation ceremony when I was awarded my university diploma in education was a career highlight for me. It’s something I never imagined I’d do when I started out as an apprentice.”

Flexibility and Support

With roots as a family business, we understand that everyone has unexpected commitments or obligations, or may be navigating a difficult time in their life. We aim to provide a culture where employees feel valued, empowered, and able to bring their best selves to work. This means doing what we can to be flexible and supportive when 'life' happens.

Everyone’s circumstances are different, and we don’t have ‘one-size-fits-all’ policies for every situation, but it’s in our DNA to offer flexibility and support when it might be needed.

Wellbeing

Our head office is an accredited Healthy Workplace. Wellbeing is championed and supported by our Wellbeing Team and senior leaders who lead by example.

Clarkson Evans has access to external services such as those provided by The Lighthouse Club, as well as in-house initiatives which range from discounted gym membership to support from trained mental health first aiders.

Social Events

With social events held throughout the year, there's always something in the calendar to look forward to. From baking competitions and quiz nights, to the Cheltenham Races and Children's Christmas Party, there really is something for everyone.

Our dedicated Social Sparks social committee organises plenty of fun social events, activities, and celebrations that allow staff to connect outside of the work environment. The Social Sparks have representation from a diverse range of business areas with the aim of planning social events that are inclusive, diverse, and engaging for all.

Many of these events also support fundraising for charity which is our way of giving a little back to those charities who are doing great work for the community.
